Here at i3DPrint, sustainability is very important to us.

We use Polylactic acid (PLA) for all of our 3d prints, which is a renewable thermoplastic and a polymer.

Despite the name, PLA is a polyester made from renewable biomass, typically from fermented plant starch like corn, cassava, sugarcane or sugar beet pulp.

This makes our prints environmentally friendly and sustainable, and most importantly biodegradable.
